Pedro Saad
Pedro Saad has coordinated more than 100 Brazilian and international projects in the cultural sector. He was the head editor of important works such as the book on the "70 years of UNESCO" that was distributed to 193 UN world leaders, and the books "World Heritage of the African Continent" and "World Heritage in Brazil".
Saad is a lawyer with graduate studies at CEAG-FGV / São Paulo (Graduate Administration Specialization Course – Getúlio Vargas Foundation). He has a master’s and a doctoral degree in business administration from PUC-SP (Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo). He is a professor of the graduate course in Cultural Management at PUC-SP and guest professor at FGV and ESPM (School of Advertising and Marketing). Director of Sustainable Development Objectives and Impact Investments of the Brazil-California Chamber of Commerce (BCCC), the Portugal-Brazil Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCILB), associate member of the Alliance Française and member of the Advisory Board of the Institution R20 Brazil, organization founded by the former governor of California, Arnold Schwarzenegger. He is the founding director of Editora Brasileira, Produtora Brasileira and World Observatory.
He has developed several projects in the cultural, educational and Sustainable Development Objectives (SDOs) sectors of the UN, which was the subject of his doctoral thesis entitled "Business and SDOs: prioritizing sustainable actions of greater economic, social and environmental return for humanity”.
He coordinated and co-produced important projects with UN, UNDP, UNESCO, UNICEF, IOM/UNHCR, UN Women, Itamaraty, Apex, MASP, Pinacoteca, MAM, USP, FGV, PUC-SP and big companies such as Bloomberg, Deloitte, PwC, Coca-Cola, At&t, General Motors, Zurich Insurance, Allianz, Basf, Bayer, Wolkswagen, Peugeot, Renault, Citröen, BNP Paribas, Saint-Gobain, Fiat, Anglo American, EDF, Petrobras, Ambev, Votorantim, B2W, Itaú, Bradesco, national and international institutions, among them the European Union (Publications Office), Leonardo DiCaprio Foundation, UN Global Compact, Alliance Française, Goethe Institute, Almap BBDO, Amazon, Acts, BCG, DataLab, Edelman, IOC Brazil, Ethos Institute, Microsoft, UOL, Folha de S.
